To make it easy to start up epidatastat, use Finder to make an alias (right-click, create alias) and Move this alias to your Applications folder, or somewhere else. (Update for OSX el capitan: if you cannot make an alias with either of these methods, then you can drag epidatastat to your Applications folder.)
