I just put electric tape on BSEL2 (located on my cpu), and it overrides the bios. I recommend this for all those who can't get their damn bios to overclock their cpu!!! Cheers, I hoped I help in any way form or shape!

Hello, since 24 hours i'm trying to install Snow Leopard Retail. It doesn't work I followed the instructions on lifehacker.com, but I always get the same error: ARGH! My System Specs ('HP Pavilion a6659de'): - Asus IPIBL-B Mainboard - Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz - 8 gigs RAM - S-ATA HDD, connected with 'SATA1' on the mainboard (SATA1 is set to 'AHCI' in BIOS) - S-ATA DVD, connected with 'SATA0' on the mainboard (I can't change the setting for SATA0 in BIOS, but I tested installation without the DVD drive - it gaves the same error) - Using Intel Graphics Adaptor I updated the BIOS with the modified one. I tried different bios versions: 5.17 mod, 5.32 mod, 5.37 mod and the Original/unmodded BIOS 5.39. Nothing worked.
